Virtual reality for business

Virtual reality is often connoted with gaming and more broadly entertainment in general. Many marketers have been attracted to VR for its wonderful experiential power and want to seize the opportunity to enhance their storytelling through this medium. That’s very true but it’s only one part of the story.

Immersive technologies provide incredible simulation possibilities and can become a true booster for your business. Virtual reality can be used to solve many different business challenges and create genuine and measurable added value. At V-Cult, we think utilitarian.

Find out how our clients use VR for their business

AccorHotels

We help AccorHotels test their new hospitality concepts in virtual reality. Our HTC Vive applications enable designers to challenge and validate interior decoration and ergonomics. VR is also used to promote these new concepts within the group.

E.Leclerc Jouet

We help French retailer E.Leclerc convince their franchisees to invest in their new concept store Jouet. This HTC Vive application enables them to visit the pilot store located in Trie-Château (Oise). The experience also provides features to optimize the store merchandising in a fun a playful manner.

Nacarat

How to maximize the profitability of a real estate project prior to its construction? We helped real estate developer Nacarat sell 80% of the available units of its program “Treize B” in Lille on the weekend of its launch. The show flat was designed in photorealistic 3D enabling potential buyers to really project themselves in their future acquisition.

Moët Hennessy

We are building a corporate education platform to train Moët Hennessy’s staff and storytellers. This WebVR platform makes it possible to take a virtual tour of the Ruinart Crayères while learning more about its prestigious savoir-faire. It is natively accessible from any web browser on any desktop, mobile and VR device.

Choose the VR solution that suits you best

The most immersive

PC VR

Go for PC VR if you are looking for a deep immersive experience on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. PC VR will provide great graphic rendering and advanced and realistic simulation capabilities.

The most casual

Mobile VR

Mobile VR is perfect if you are looking to use VR in a simple but still useful way: virtual tours, 360° videos, casual gaming… The virtual reality experienced is delivered by a smartphone that is being put inside a compatible VR headset such as a Samsung Gear VR or a Google Cardboard.

The future

Stand-alone VR

Stand-alone headsets such as the Oculus GO are the perfect compromise between a very realistic but bulky PC VR and the flexibility of mobile VR. No PC nor smartphone is needed with a stand-alone VR device!

Different platforms

Different platforms

We can develop our VR experiences in different frameworks and for different platforms depending on your needs. We will generally prefer Unreal Engine for a distribution of your application on PC VR even though we can also work with Unity3D in some cases. We also use Unity for mobile VR and stand-alone VR projects even though WebVR remains our preferred platform for these formats.

Triple A rendering

Unreal Engine

We recommend Unreal Engine for your real-time 3D VR projects on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, particularly if you are looking for impressive graphic rendering.

The reference

Unity

Unity3D is an interesting alternative to Unreal Engine and particularly for gamified VR experiences. It will also be a very interesting option for your mobile VR projects.

VR from your web browser

WebVR

We have been experts in immersive web since 2009 and were among the first in the world to create interactive 3D and VR apps in native browser environments. These immersive experiences can be instantly accessed from a virtual reality headset without any application or software to download in the first place. We often push WebVR for mobile and especially for VR hubs or 360° virtual tours.
